At Landmark, our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

It does not matter if you have walked with Jesus for years, or just now learning who Jesus is.  We all can take steps closer to Jesus, and we are driven as a church by this mission.

Our vision is to be a community that shows the love of Jesus to people experiencing life’s struggles.
We know everyone faces hard times.  It can be sickness, financial struggles, loss of a job, divorce, grief, or just the hard times of life we see everyday.  No one is immune to hardships.  We firmly believe the presence of Jesus in our lives is the only way any of us can make it through hard times.  We know that our growing relationship with Jesus brings us all together to love, support and belong to each other when life’s struggles seem to overwhelm.  We are a community, bound together by Jesus in the hard times of life.
Serving God as a Church for over 30 years

 

Since 1975 the Landmark family has been seeking to honor God in Montgomery, Alabama. Our church family, currently about 1400 members, is a blended family of people from all walks of life and experiences. We have an intense desire to be real and relational in our walk with Christ. Our worship is purposefully planned by a team every week to help connect people's hearts to God's. As soon as you walk through the doors you'll have people waiting to help you feel welcome and a part of the family. Our prayer is that you find Landmark to be a body of believers seeking Jesus, and God's plan for our lives.
How can I learn more about the Landmark Church
Landmark 101 is the answer!  This is a class that will introduce the basics of the Landmark family.  This class is offered year round and is a prerequisite to membership- we want you to know what you are getting into!
How to get involved
Many people ask, "How can I fit in a church that big? I feel overwhelmed!" We don't want you to be just another number at Landmark. We really desire for you to use your God-given gifts and abilities for service in the church body. We offer a host of opportunities for you to plug in wherever God has gifted you, whether it's teaching a class, working with the children's ministry, helping with teens, etc. Every fall we offer "Faith Works Sunday," a day for plugging into the church involvement. Just let us know how you want to serve.

Small Groups
We call our Small Group Ministry "Life Groups". Life Groups offer an opportunity for our church to build solid and lasting relationships that help shape each other more like Jesus. Our guests are always welcome to be a part of these groups. Life Groups consist of our church family, and have different dynamics for all types of families.
Our Ministry Team includes members who work in the following areas: preaching, children's ministry, youth ministry, campus ministry, involvement, missions, coordinating, and technology/media. We also have one full-time elder.
Elders & Deacons
The Church family is led by elders and deacons, all who have a heart for Jesus Christ. You'll see it on the walls when you come in, but Landmark lives by "Adore God, Belong to a Family, Care for the World, Disciple Someone." So, everything we do is wrapped around the glorifying of Jesus Christ.

Encouragement
We realize you have the opportunity to choose from lots of great churches around Montgomery, but no matter where you choose to attend, plant yourself in a place where you can be involved to grow and serve Jesus. The rewards are worth it.
